Here's an eco-savvy tip sent to us by Herb'n Maid client and Eco-Concierge Preferred Partner Tracy Stamper. Tracy was overwhelmed by unwanted catalog subscriptions, which contribute to the devastation of 53 million trees each year.

 

We signed up for catalogchoice.org, a FREE service that allows you to opt out of specific catalog mailings. You create your own profile and choose specific catalogs that you no longer wish to receive. (In other words, you can still keep those few you just can't part with... yet.) So far, I've removed myself from FORTY catalog mailing lists. That's a lot of green!!! It's addictive, so I'm still adding.

It feels much better not to be on the receiving end of those catalogs, most of which I didn't even want in the first place.
